Brooklyn Short Sleeve Cotton Check Shirt

Very pleased with shirt good fit and good quality. Only negative lots of colour run on the first wash.

I said I'd probably be back to buy more, and the previous example has convinced me to buy two. This will probably be my three shirts for the summer if things stay warm. They wash well, and being lightweight they dry quickly. I dried one earlier today on the 'Gypsies Clothesline', just spreading it out on the hedge in the sun. If it turns chilly I have heavier shirts, also from Big Dude, which have stood repeated washings and a pretty rough life. As an example I got the original shirt so lagged with sawdust and sweat the other day it felt as if it was more dust than fabric. It all washed out nicely on the fifteen minute quick wash cycle and the shirt is cool and lightweight again. One very happy customer. John

One the strength of only two days use I'd say I got another bargain. On first impression it seemed incredibly flimsy, compared the the long-sleeved winter-weight shirts I've been wearing. But it arrived at the start of a hot spell and it felt absolutely perfect. Loose, light, and comfortable. Obviously I can't speak for it's durability yet, but previous purchases from Big Dude have shown they don't sell rubbish. One warning. It's not as brown as it looked on my computer screen, being a lighter cshade than I'd normally choose. But not enough to make me send it back. By the end of the week I'll probably have decided to buy another one. A pity it wasn't available in green. John

This shirt is a nice shirt, nice and cool. The length of it is quite long so if your short like my husband but with a large stomach be aware.
