Jeans Leg Sizes – Is 31″ or 32″ a regular??

What is Regular?

At bigdude, we sell big mens jeans from sizes 34″ all the way up to 60″ with a smaller range up to 70″. We have a great range of fits and styles from a variety of brands including Raphael Valencino, Duke, KAM and many others.

We do not sell odd waist sizes (43″ jeans, 45″ jeans etc…) as it is not the waist size of the jeans that we sell that cause problems. On the other hand, the leg size is usually more of a problem for our customers. Unfortunately, the various brands do not operate standard sizing. Therefore, if you buy a regular leg in Raphael Valencino Jeans then it will be a 31″ leg, but if you buy a regular leg in big Kangol jeans then it will be a 32″ leg.

We used to get a few customers in the past, who maybe ordered a regular leg and when a 31″ leg was delivered (actually a regular in some brands) they would email us to tell us we sent the wrong size. Therefore, we switched how we display the sizing and now write the actual inches of the leg (29″, 30″, 31″, 32″, 33″, 34″, 36, 38″) rather than just saying short, regular or long leg.
